Thursday night we had to make a trip to the Emergency Room. My daughter was helping make cookies and fell off the stool in the kitchen. We didn't realize at first that she had a chin laceration until we had her lay down. Off to the emergency room we went - thank goodness it wasn't busy. After some shots to numb the area, the doctor put in 4 stitches and did tell us she would end up with a small scar.

Ouch! I have a scar in the same place from stitches there. Mine was from a tooth being lodged into my chin while playing in a sprinkler. Let's just say running at each other is not the brightest idea. : )
