Kate's ABCs Cards

I've been in a bit of a funk and really haven't been feeling very crafty lately.  As I was checking out some of my favorite blogs hoping to get inspired to create, I came across a post on Jana Eubank's that I just fell in love with.  She used the Kate's ABCs cart to make 3 precious wall decor pieces.  Once I saw those, I was inspired to take her designs and make them into beautiful spring cards.  I especially love the soft colors she used, so I stuck fairly close to her design.

I think they turned out really cute and hopefully now I'll start feeling in a creative mood again.

Last Pages...

Hi Everyone!

Here are the last pages for my friends' album.  The "finished" book is 30 pages.

They were coming over to dinner last night, so I wanted to finish up the album for them.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.  And, of course, I hope that they love it and really enjoy looking through the pictures for many years to come.

Now...on to the last pages...

This first one uses papers from DCWV The Guy Stack.  Circle, stars and font are from Plantin Schoolbook.

For this next one, I didn't use any cricut cuts.  The alphabet stickers are Tim Holtz Alpha parts and the numbers are Tim Holtz Alpha Cards.  Paper is DCWV Heirloom.

Patterned paper is Paper Pizazz Navy Suede.  The lighter blue paper is Bazzill Cardstock printed using the Imagine Teresa Collins Black and White cartridge.  Font is Kate's ABCs

Patterned paper is Paper Pizazz - Mixing Carlee's Papers.  The Dream and Love phrases are from Teresa Collins Sophisticated.

Paper is DCWV The Natural Stack.

And More Layouts

Hi!

Continuing on with more layouts for my friends' album ....

The boat is from Life's a Beach and the phrase is from Simply Charmed - I used the gypsy to hide the faces on the "a" and the "b".  The paper is from my stash - something that I've had since I first started scrapbooking.  I had been saving it for pages from a trip to Boston that I took in 2000, but figured it's been almost 13 years so it's time to finally use up.

The next layout uses DCWV papers.  Font is from Kate's ABCs.  I would have used Disney's Pooh Font, but I didn't think about it until after I put together the page and decided it needed something more...which is when I added Winnie the Pooh and Tigger - both are from the Disney Pooh Font cartridge and are cut at 2.5".

My creativity has slowed down quite a bit since I first started this project.  My hope is to get at least 1, if not 2, more pages done today.  Wish me luck!

CC - Scraps Only Challenge #2

Hi Everyone!

Here's my second entry for the Cricut Circle Scraps Only Challenge.

I really like how this challenge is getting me to use up some of the many scraps of paper I've been hanging on to.

The tag will be used for my journaling.

Here's the close up of my cuts that were embossed with the Cuttlebug - the signs, tuft of grass and the leaves on the flowers.

Signs are from Freshly Picked, tuft of grass from Pop-up Neighborhood; flowers and font are from Kate's ABCs.

Backpack notes for the last week of September

Here are my backpack notes for the last week of September.  I forgot to take a picture of the one I put in my daughter's backpack this morning, so that's why there is only four.
